Specialised Tasks Logbook

Training, OJT and experience on specialised tasks, with evidence references and signatures.

For Part-66 Licensed Engineers · Mechanics · NDT and Workshop Personnel

Open in AVIOCONTROL APPS

What it does

Record the training received, the on-the-job training (OJT) and the experience gained on the specialised tasks of your organisation's exposition (MOE): borescope inspections, NDT and NDI methods, towing, pushback, engine ground runs, welding, sheet metal and composite repair, painting and more. Keep a numbered evidence register (evidence is never uploaded) and link each entry to the evidence that supports it. Each OJT and experience entry is dated and signed by you and your supervisor, on screen or on the printed PDF. Recency per task, summary, CSV export and backup.

Individual app: each person uses it with their own account; your data is private to you and saved to your account.

How to use it

  1. Enter your name and surnames, Staff / authorisation no. and Organisation / approval ref. in the header; they are printed on every page of the logbook.
  2. In Tasks & backup, hide the tasks you do not need, add those of your exposition with Add task, and enter the MOE reference and a Recency period (months) where your MOE sets one.
  3. In Evidence register, record each certificate, course record, OJT worksheet or work order with its number, what it is and where the original is kept, then press Save evidence.
  4. In Add entry, choose the Type of entry, Date and Specialised task, write the description, tick the evidence that supports it, add the supervisor for OJT or experience, and press Save entry.
  5. In Entries, press Sign as holder and Sign as supervisor on each OJT and experience entry to sign on screen, by drawing or typing the name; use the filters to find entries pending signature.
  6. Check the Summary tab for the count of training, OJT and experience per task and, where a recency period is set, the date until which your experience is recent.
  7. Press Print / Save as PDF to print the logbook, and in Tasks & backup use Download backup (.json) and Export CSV to keep copies.
