Hangar Planner
Hangar and line planning shared by your whole organisation, from the due dates of your fleet.
For Part-145 Organisations · Maintenance planning · Hangar supervisors · CAMO
Open in AVIOCONTROL APPSWhat it does
One licence for your organisation: plan which aircraft enters which hangar bay or line stand and when, choosing the dates with a calendar. Your fleet with its due items by calendar, flight hours and cycles gives the projected due date, and the alerts show what finishes after its due date, what is not planned, flight hours not updated and the entries coming up. Staff and material for each inspection, progress, incidents and shift handover, facility defects, a forecast at two utilisation rates, colour bars to print in landscape and Excel export. Only the Owner and the Planners change the plan, and every change is recorded in an audit trail.
Shared by your organisation: planning, hangar supervisors, quality and the CAMO see the same hangar plan at the same time, from a computer, a tablet or a phone.
How to use it
- The owner buys the app and opens it: write the name of your organisation. The app gives it a reference (for support) and a code to join (Organisation tab).
- Each person creates an account in AVIOCONTROL APPS, opens Hangar Planner in the App Store and writes that code under 'Join your organisation'. In the Organisation tab the Owner or a Planner approves each request with a role: Planner, Shift or Viewer. Only the Owner names Planners.
- Organisation tab (Owner or Planner): add your hangars with their bays and your line stations with their stands, and the staff you plan on the inspections.
- Fleet & due dates: add each aircraft (registration, customer, type, serial number and the rest) and its due items with the calendar limit, the hours limit and the cycles limit, or import them from Excel or CSV with the template. Write the current flight hours with their date and the average flight hours per day: the app estimates the hours of each day until the next reading and computes the projected due date.
- Planning: press + Schedule an inspection, choose the aircraft, the due item, the hangar and bay or the line station and stand, and the entry and finish dates with the calendar. To move an inspection, open it and press Edit inspection. Auto-accommodate proposes the first free bay before each due date; you confirm each proposal.
- Open an inspection to see and record its progress, the staff assigned, the material needed, the incidents and the shift handover.
- Alerts: what finishes after its due date, what is not planned, flight hours not updated, hangars above their capacity, staff booked twice, material not ready and the entries coming up.
- Forecast: when each aircraft reaches its hours limit at two daily utilisation rates.
- Facility defects: defects of the hangars and stations that can affect the plan.
- Print the colour bars in landscape, export everything to Excel, and see every change in the Audit trail tab (Owner and Planners).
