Delayed, cancelled or overbooked? See what the EU Regulation gives you, then claim it.
For Passengers
Open in AVIOCONTROL APPSWhat it does
Checks your case under Regulation (EC) No 261/2004 with the judgments of the EU Court of Justice: whether it applies, the great-circle distance, compensation of 250, 400 or 600 euros and when it can be halved, the cancellation notice rules, extraordinary circumstances, denied boarding, downgrading, meals, hotel and refund. Writes the claim letter and keeps your claims with their status. Explains the reform adopted in July 2026 and when it applies. Guidance, not legal advice.
Individual app: each person uses it with their own account; your data is private to you and saved to your account.
How to use it
- In the Check my flight tab, enter the first departure airport, the final destination and any connection, the flight number and date, and whether the operating airline is licensed in the EU, Iceland, Norway or Switzerland.
- Choose what happened (Delay, Cancellation, Denied boarding or Downgraded) and fill in the delays or details asked, and the reason the airline gave.
- Confirm the three checks, then read the Result: the distance, whether the Regulation applies, the amount per passenger and the assistance you are owed.
- If compensation or a refund is due, complete the Claim letter with your name, booking reference, passengers and IBAN, then press Copy letter or Download as text.
- Press Save to my claims, then use the My claims tab to update the status, date sent and notes of each claim.
- Read the Your rights and 2026 reform tabs for the rules in plain language and what changes with the reform.
