What Can I Carry?

Batteries, power banks, liquids and more: cabin, hold or not at all.

For Passengers

Open in AVIOCONTROL APPS

What it does

A watt-hour calculator for batteries and power banks with the 2026 ICAO/IATA rules (two power banks at most, no charging on board), more than 30 everyday items from lighters to drones, a liquids planner for the 100 ml rule and for airports with approved new scanners, and your own packing list.

Individual app: each person uses it with their own account; your data is private to you and saved to your account.

How to use it

  1. In the Batteries tab, choose what the battery is, then enter the watt-hours from the label, or the mAh and voltage, and how many you carry.
  2. Read the Result: cabin bag, checked bag and whether airline approval is needed, with the conditions; press Add to my packing list to keep it.
  3. Open the Items A–Z tab, type an item in Search an item, read where it can travel and press Add to put it on your packing list.
  4. In the Liquids tab, choose the security rule at your departure airport, then enter each container's name, size in ml and type and press Add; the app shows what is too big and the total for your 1-litre bag.
  5. Open My packing list to review everything you added, with a warning for items that need attention; use Remove or Clear the list as needed.
