Flight Anxiety Diary
Note each flight, see your progress, learn what helps you.
For Passengers
Open in AVIOCONTROL APPSWhat it does
A private diary for nervous flyers: anxiety before, at the worst moment and after each flight, triggers and what helped. Charts your progress, shows your main triggers and the strategies linked with calmer flights, and helps you write a plan for the next one. Self-help, not therapy.
Individual app: each person uses it with their own account; your data is private to you and saved to your account.
How to use it
- In the Add a flight tab, enter the Date and Route of the flight.
- Choose a number from 0 to 10 for the day before and at the airport, at the worst moment and after landing, and pick when the worst moment happened.
- Tick what triggered your anxiety and what helped, add any Notes, then press Save flight; the flight appears under My flights, where you can Edit or Delete it.
- Open the My progress tab to see the chart, the change from your first to your latest flights, your most frequent triggers and what helped.
- Open the Next flight tab, read the ideas taken from your diary, write your own plan and press Save my plan.
- Press Backup to download a copy of your diary; use Restore to add flights back from a backup file.
