What it does

All the airworthiness directives of the MBB-BK117 A, B and C-1, the EC145 (C-2, C-2e), the EC145 T2 (D-2, D-2m) and the H145 (D-3, D-3m), and of their ARRIEL 1E2 / 2E and (FAA) LTS101 engines, read every 7 days from the EASA Safety Publications Tool with their status (in force, superseded, revised) and the link to the official document. Enter your helicopter's model, serial number, engine and configuration: each AD is marked applicable, to review or not applicable, with the reason. Record the compliance and export the AD status list to Excel or PDF. Also 19 accident and incident reports published by the safety investigation authorities (AAIB, ATSB, BEA, JTSB, NSIA, NTSB, TAIC).

Individual app: each person keeps their own helicopters in their account; the AD and occurrence database is common to all users and updated automatically every 7 days.

How to use it

  1. Press Add or edit helicopters (or open My helicopters) and enter the Registration, Model, Serial number (S/N), Engine and any installed part numbers to check, then press Save helicopter.
  2. Enter the Engine S/Ns (engine 1 to 2, comma separated); if the engines are of different models, tick Engines of different models installed (intermix) and choose each one.
  3. Choose the helicopter in the Helicopter selector at the top, or press Select in My helicopters: the Directives tab marks each AD APPLICABLE, REVIEW or NOT APPLICABLE for its serial number and configuration.
  4. For ADs marked REVIEW, answer the questions with Yes, No or Don't know, and open Applicability, reason and documents to read the AD text and the AD document (PDF).
  5. Set Compliance (Complied, Recurring, Not applicable (confirmed)), the Date, Next due and Work order / reference for each AD, and press Save.
  6. Use the filters (ATA chapter, Status, Applicability, Compliance, Airframe / engine, Authority, Year) or Search (press Enter), and press Excel or PDF to export the AD status list.
  7. Open Accidents & incidents to filter the reports and open each Official report. Press Backup to keep a copy of your helicopters and compliance records.
